Contract Back End Developer – Node.js & AWS Lambda

Transformation of leading global marketing platform

Rate: £550 - £600 p/day

Duration: 3 Months +

Location: East London

Interesting role working on the tech transformation of a marketing platform in Node.js where the majority of the codebase will be greenfield.

The Role:

• Write the normalisation layer for existing stored data
• Design and write data matching models based on non-exclusive information
• Prepare processing (insertion, updates, deletion) of big data in the pipelines supported by Lambda AWS
• Deliver set of API’s with the compatibility layer for the existing service system

Knowledge & Experience:

• Solid experience of Node.js, AWS Lambda and Aurora MySQL Engine
• Experience of writing unit tested JavaScript code
• Microservice architecture experience
• Ability to plan and construct performant queries on databases
• Understanding of asynchronous processing
• Experience of importing data from large external and varied feeds, sources and formats in a performant way
• Knowledge of Terraform and Cloudwatch and Kibana
