An excellent opportunity for a German Speaking Digital Project Manager to join a technically focused digital build agency.Working closely with the client and account management team, you will plan and deliver work streams across often highly technical and business critical platforms. You will deliver project plans, budgets and review the feasibility of proposals. You will work collaboratively with other teams including strategy, UX, design, editorial and technology to deliver exceptional work and manage risk effectively.

Main responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end complex projects at scale (both technical and content related), experience working with UX, editorial, visual design, development & test resource
• Understand and interpret clients’ business objectives and requirements against multiple work streams, with the ability to assess, plan and prioritise
• Work with the wider leadership team to define the scope of projects and work streams, producing detailed plans, budgets and specifications
• Ensure ideas are realistic and achievable and seek to find the best solution within scope, time and budget
• Monitor project performance (especially margin), timelines and budgets (estimate versus actuals), and report on these regularly to the management team
• Being as proactive as possible in spotting opportunities or issues however also being able to react quickly and intelligently to issues that arise and managed the impact
• Identify risks early in deliveries and formulate plans to mitigate against them, resolving issues before they arise
• Work collaboratively with other agency teams, including strategy, UX, design, editorial and technology to ensure the best result for your projects

Essential skills required

• Minimum 5 years’ digital agency experience
• Business proficient/fluency in German is essential as there is a possibility of working with our client based in Germany
• Technically, commercially and strategically focused
• Accomplished at managing multiple work streams and programmes of ongoing updates/improvements
• Ability to multi-task in a fast moving environment
• Excellent project management skills, with experience of managing budgets, estimates and schedules
• Experience of inspiring and motivating a cross functional team
• In depth understanding and practical experience of Agile and Waterfall methodologies
• In depth understanding of project management documentation, such as SOWs, reporting, margin predictions, financial documentation and risk/issue reporting
• Attention to detail across updating reporting, estimations and project statuses
